Last updated: September 8, 2026

1. Purpose

These terms and conditions of use (hereinafter "the Terms") govern the access and use of the website saaskip (hereinafter "the Service"), published by oclio. By using the Service, you accept these Terms without reservation. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not use the Service.

2. Definitions

  • The Service: refers to the website saaskip, including the source code, documentation, and all features presented.
  • The user: any natural or legal person accessing the Service, whether a customer or not.
  • The source code: all files, modules, and configurations offered by the Service, partly free under the MIT license and partly for payment.
  • The customer: any user who has purchased access to the Pro source code or associated services.

3. Access to the Service

3.1 Free access

The Service offers free source code under the MIT license, accessible without registration. This access includes the core architecture, authentication, database, i18n, mailer, observability, SEO, and security.

3.2 Pro access

Certain advanced features (multi-tenancy, passkeys, SSO, billing, dashboards, vector FAQ, n8n automations, storage, support) are reserved for customers who have purchased a Pro license. Pro access is granted as a one-time download of the source code.

3.3 Availability

oclio strives to keep the Service accessible online, but does not guarantee absolute availability. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons beyond oclio's control.

4. Source code license

4.1 Free source code (MIT)

The free source code is distributed under the MIT license. You are free to use, modify, distribute, and exploit it commercially, provided you include the copyright notice and the MIT license.

4.2 Pro source code

The Pro source code is distributed under a proprietary license. The customer receives the right to use the Pro source code for an unlimited number of projects within the same organization.

4.3 Restrictions

The customer expressly undertakes not to:

  • Redistribute, resell, or publicly share the Pro source code, in whole or in part.
  • Include the Pro source code in a competing product or similar boilerplate.
  • Sub-license the Pro source code to third parties outside the scope defined by the purchased license.

4.4 Intellectual property

The Pro source code constitutes an original work protected by intellectual property law. The customer acknowledges that oclio retains full ownership of the Pro source code. The granted license is non-exclusive and non-transferable.

5. Services

oclio may offer complementary services (customization, installation, support). The nature, availability, and pricing of these services are specified on the Service at the time of ordering. oclio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any complementary service at any time.

Support is limited to installation, initial configuration, and resolution of bugs related to the provided source code. It does not cover the development of custom features or integration with third-party services.

6. Liability

6.1 Information provided

The source code and documentation provided by the Service are provided "as is". oclio does not guarantee that the source code meets specific requirements or is free of errors. The customer is solely responsible for assessing the suitability of the source code for their project.

6.2 Limitation of liability

oclio shall not be liable for:

  • Direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the source code or the inability to access it.
  • Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the source code or documentation.
  • Consequences of using the source code in production, including data loss, downtime, or security breaches.
  • Integrations made by the customer with third-party services.

6.3 Force majeure

oclio shall not be held liable for failures to fulfill its obligations resulting from a case of force majeure as defined by French case law.

7. Personal data

The processing of the user's personal data is governed by the Service's privacy policy. The user is invited to consult this policy to understand their rights and how their data is processed.

8. Cookies

The use of the Service may involve the placement of cookies on the user's device. The user is informed of the purpose of these cookies upon first connection and may configure their browser to accept or reject them.

9. Payments

9.1 Billing

Payments are processed by a third-party provider (Stripe or Lemon Squeezy). oclio does not store any payment data.

9.2 Refund

Given the digital nature of the product (immediate source code download), no refund is granted after download, except in the case of a major defect rendering the source code unusable.

10. Hypertext links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. oclio exercises no control over these sites and disclaims any responsibility for their content, practices, or privacy policies.

11. Modification of the Terms

oclio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modifications take effect upon publication on the Service. It is the user's responsibility to regularly consult the Terms to stay informed of any changes.

12. Suspension and termination

oclio reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Pro source code in the event of a breach of these Terms, particularly in the case of unauthorized redistribution, without notice or compensation.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after attempting an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
